Established in 2019, Chalk has quickly built up an excellent reputation and relationship with our customers. We aim to provide affordable tailoring and clothing alterations and repairs whilst maintaining the highest quality of work to our customers throughout Nottingham.

Offering a wide range of services, we specialise in men’s alterations, women’s alterations, re-styling, repairs, bridal alterations and home textiles.

Our standard turnaround is 5 working days, but we also offer an express service – while you wait or collect next day, we are dedicated to getting your job done in the time you need.

  Excellent service from very kind people! Had a small rip in my puffer jacket and asked for some assistance. Offered to patch it up free of charge due to the small scale of the rip and the tear is now effectively sealed. Would 10/10 recommend!

  Dani worked absolute magic! - very professional, a quick turn around, and reasonably priced. My bridesmaids dress needed the hem shortening and was far too big on the torso. The adjustments needed taking in A LOT and the lace fabric was complex, but she did an incredible job! I’m pleased with all the adjustments, I can’t even tell wear the lace has been cut it’s so seamless! I can’t wait to wear this dress now.

  Outstanding customer service.  I had my new coat altered as the sleeves were too long and a pair of jeans shortened. The staff and owner are very polite, friendly  and kept me updated. The 2 alterations were done in a few days and I was given a  call and text to say it had been done. The alterations were immaculate , I couldn't even tell they had been altered. Looked better than the original and fitting was superb. Very happy , world give 6 stars if I could. Will use again if and when required. Ali

  My wife and I both had our wedding dresses altered at chalk tailors. We cannot fault the service and the final products that we received. We felt looked after and listened to throughout each fitting. All of the staff are lovely too!
